We caught the airport shuttle to collect our red mustang from Avis at the airport.
Paul put the top down and we drove out of LA to Las Vegas.
Great scenery and a really good drive.
It was a bit hot but Paul was determined to have his drive in the convertible, with the top down!
I have some video footage of our drive and as soon as I work out how to download it, I will post it here.... We valeted the car and checked in to the Hard Rock Hotel.
We had room 30322 in the Paradise Tower.

We were a bit hungry by now so had an early dinner at the in house diner, Mr Lucky's.
Paul had a burger and I had chicken nachos.
The servings were huge.
While we were sitting in the diner, the birthday boy himself, Stuart strolled past.
We then organised to meet everyone for drinks at the Sports Bar in the Hotel.
First of all though, we went to meet the Sin City Roller Girls.
I added a Blue Mountains Roller Derby sticker to their sticker wall, gave them a Blue Mountains Roller Derby tshirt and bag.
I met Cherry Potter and a few of the other girls. Their training venue is awesome!
When we returned to the Hard Rock Hotel, we parked in the Paradise Tower self park. Much easier.
We finished the night with Stuart and the gang in the Sports Bar of the Hard Rock Hotel.
