The shuttle then collected me, Paul, Stuart and Anya at 9.30 for the helicopter ride to the Grand Canyon.
We saw the Hoover Dam, had a boat ride on the Colorado river
and then went to the Skywalk for photos.
There were also examples of Indian housing and teepees.
We got souvenir bags with snacks as part of the tour and Paul also bought a hotdog.
The views from the helicopter were fantastic but the whole day was really hot so on our return, Paul and I spent 2 hours in the pool area bringing our core temperature.
We started in the Breathe pool which was lovely and shallow and we just sat in it. Then we moved on to the Nirvana pool and finished with the Paradise pool.....
We met everyone for dinner in the Hard Rock Hotel at Johnny Smalls restaurant. We got a $25 per head all you can eat which included mini burgers, onion rings, chips, chicken wings etc...
The party moved to Caesars Palace but Paul and I stayed behind, played slots at the Hard Rock Hotel casino and then had an early night as we were exhausted!
