We arrived in Los Angeles the same day we left!
So much to do:

Lucky we are staying at Santa Monica.....
Arrived Los Angeles 630am caught airport shuttle to
Fairmont Miramar Santa Monica Rm 522.
Room not quite ready so went walking along Santa Monica beach, park and pier. Found markets close to the hotel where we bought fresh cherries and Californian pistachios. Had coffees and a red velvet cupcake in a coffee shop.
Paul bought a hamburger and chips on the Santa Monica pier.
I got a Vix N Bones ID necklace.
Came back to hotel and had a snooze before hitting the luxurious pool where I relaxed with a mojito and Paul got a Blue Moon beer, a recommendation from blokes in the spa.
Went to the movies and saw Men in Black in 3D. Ate popcorn and coke. Great movie for those who havent seen it....Paul said it was the jet lag that made tears form in his eyes....
For dinner went back to Santa Monica Pier to
Bubba Gump Shrimp. I drank pomegranate margaritas while Paul sampled the local beers, Samuel Adams and Blue Moon (which is always served we noticed with a slice of orange....like the lemon or lime in Corona? Paul always threw it away...
Dinner was Accidental Shrimp and Fish for me and a Forrest Gump Feast (like a Fishermans basket) for Paul.
Finished the night in the Fairmont Miramar bar with beer for Paul and a pot of tea for me...
